For more than 100 years, this home has stood at the heart of the French Family.

It is where generations have gathered. Where birthdays, holidays, celebrations, conversations, and countless family memories have taken place. It is a place that has connected us to our family’s history and reminded us where we came from.

Our patriarchs, Lawrence and Marguerite “Mack” French, entrusted this land to their children and descendants. For generations, our family has honored that trust by continuing to cherish this property and use this home as a gathering place and a hallmark of the French Family Legacy.

But after more than a century, the home has deteriorated. Recent inspections have revealed that extensive repairs—or rebuilding a new home—are necessary. After much consideration, our family has made the decision to rebuild. And while the structure may be changing, the heart of what this place means to our family will remain.

A New Chapter Begins

We have been blessed with a generous donor who has committed $50,000 toward the rebuilding project.

Now, Cathy Terrell, a descendant of Lawrence and Mack French and the owner and founder of Mama T Jams and Jellies LLC, is stepping forward with a personal goal of raising an additional $5,000 toward the rebuild.

This is deeply personal for Cathy.  This is the home she has lived in, loved, and cherished throughout her entire life. It represents generations of family, memories, and a connection to the people who came before her. Helping rebuild this home means helping preserve a place where future generations can continue to gather, reconnect, and create memories of their own.
